Throughout Q3 2021, the medical app landscape on the Android platform in El Salvador saw varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 medical apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

OnLife from Human Tech S.A. de C.V. experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. The app reached its peak download numbers in the week of August 9 with approximately 7.9K downloads. However, it saw a significant drop towards the end of August, hitting a low of 584 downloads in the week of August 30. Weekly downloads picked up slightly towards the end of September, closing the quarter with around 2.6K downloads.

FarmaValue by Centro American Consulting and Capital maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter. The app saw its highest weekly downloads in the last week of June with about 2K downloads, and it hovered around this mark for most of Q3. Weekly active users for FarmaValue remained steady, starting at approximately 5K at the end of June and ending the quarter at around 4.8K.

Finally, Farmacias San Nicolás by Bitworks S.A. de C.V. had a stable download rate with minor fluctuations. The app reached its highest download count in the week of August 23 with about 992 downloads and maintained a steady performance throughout the quarter.
